The Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce (“HJJCC”) – is a not-for-profit/community service organization whose mission is to build members into future leaders and promote Japanese culture in the local community. The HJJCC is best known for the Cherry Blossom Festival, one of the longest running ethnic festivals in Hawaii. The HJJCC membership is affiliated with the US Jaycees and Junior Chamber International (JCI). Through the JCI, they have established and maintained sister chapter relationships with 5 cities (Kobe, Kurashiki, Kojima, Tamashima, and Odawara) for over 40 years. Similar to HJJCC, each of these sister chapter Jaycees are heavily involved in working with local government.
